Dundee Dance Partnership has been in existence for over 15 years and aims to celebrate and promote dance in the City of Dundee.  Dance is thriving in Dundee and thanks to a special partnership between the city’s major dance organisations, the future is looking very bright.

Scottish Dance Theatre is Scotland’s national contemporary dance company and is part of Dundee Rep Theatre. Under the direction of Fleur Darkin, the company is committed to producing excellent and daring work that is led by the power of the dancing body. The company collaborates with artists of outstanding calibre in the fields of music, design and the visual arts to produce dance of the highest quality.

Shaper/Caper is a charity that likes a boogie, a shuffle, a twist and the odd conga. We offer dance classes for people of all ages and abilities and present performance work all over the shop from York to New York. We're pretty friendly and we make a lovely cup of tea (Early Grey, lots of milk and one lump please if you're offering).

Showcase the Street are a local charity who bring dance and wider activity to all young people but especially those from areas of deprivation or rural isolation as well as running projects in schools and the wider community. We run weekly classes from our dance studios at Manhattan Works in the Maryfield area of Dundee for ages 3-18 years and if you'd like to come along and take part in our yearly shows at the Caird Hall just get in touch via the contact page on the website.

Leisure & Culture Dundee

Leisure & Culture Dundee run 'Twisting Tots', 'Funky Feet' and 'Urban Moves' dance classes for all ages across the city. Since the programmes started over 10 years ago they have attracted a growing number of people into dance and teach them the foundations of street dance. The programmes aim to increase participation and develop potential among dancers.

Bharatiya Ashram Community Centre

The Bharatiya Ashram is a unique cultural organisation that promotes all cultures from the perspective of people belonging to the ethnic minority communities of Scotland.

Dudhope Multicultural Centre was established in 1995 to promote benefits for all, but primarily for ethnic minority clients of Dundee and surrounding areas. With an overall objective of improving the quality of life, the Centre runs activities under three themes, Education for all, Health & Wellbeing, Drama & Art.
